Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons minced shallots, or onion
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 jar Alessi Smooth Marinara Sauce
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 1 pound Vigo Penne Rigate
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

In a saucepan over medium heat sauté shallots in butter until translucent and soft (being careful not to burn). Add  red pepper flakes. Stir in princess sauce and vodka until heated. Spoon sauce over cooked pasta and top with grated Parmesan.
